Recruitment:

Advertising on all Forums and create a shortlist of competent candidates according to the business specifications.

One on one interviews.

Reference checking of shortlisted candidates.

Management of the interview process between client and candidate.

Employment Contracts:

Drafting of Employment contracts inline with the BCEA, including working hours, lunch/tea breaks, salary package, overtime, annual leave etc in order for the employee to have a clear understanding so that later disputes are avoided.

Job Descriptions:

Drafting of job descriptions with assistance from Management to have a clear outline of the employees roles and responsibilities for future use with regards to performance management.

Disciplinary Policies and Procedures:

Guiding Management on counseling, verbal warnings, written warnings, and final written warnings.

Drafting of Disciplinary notifications including legal time frames for preparation, employee rights, alleged charges are read, and clear indication on time and date of hearing.

Chairing of hearings - ensuring that the business is in line with the BCEA and holds a fair hearing with written outcomes for Employee and Employer.

Mutual Termination Agreements - Managing this process from start to finish between Employee and Employer with signed documents agreeing to terminate and sating clearly the final settlements, making sure this is a smooth transition

Grievances:

Mediating all internal grievances in a professional and sensitive manner to ensure the best outcome for Employee and Employer.

Retrenchment Procedures:

Handling of all retrenchments and departmental restructuring, ensuring a fair procedure is followed with regards to the Labour Relations Act. This includes full disclosure of the required information as set out in section 189 of the Labour Relations Act and consultation and guidance for all effected employees.

Exit Interviews:

Ensuring a thorough exit interview is done with Employees to establish any issues that might effect staff retention or any training that needs to be set out within the Company.

Company Policies:

Creating and implementing all company policies e.g.: Sexual Harassment, Dress Code, Cellphone Usage, Company Vehicles, Recruitment, Code of Conduct etc to ensure consistency throughout the Company.
